Let's Look at Another Scenario

Let's look at a problem Mr. Anderson encountered.

Scenario

During auditions, Mr. Anderson hears two of his 8th grade students talking about another student after her performance. They are making fun of the way this particular student auditioned and telling each other they aren't going to vote for her.

What is one possible way Mr. Anderson can help his students follow the rules? Click on the best answer and see the feedback below.

Tell the two students they are not allowed to vote anymore, and take away their ballots.

Talk to them after auditions are over and explain they were violating the three rules.

Tell the students it is time for a restroom/drink break. Have them turn over their ballots and take 3 minutes. Quickly talk with the two students, asking them questions of how they would feel if someone were making fun of their performance. Remind them of the rules.
